Hibla Philippines joined forces with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) for a special Caring Cup session celebrating Filipino weaving heritage through a hands-on cultural experience. Held at CBTL’s Tomas Morato branch, the event brought together curious beginners and cultural enthusiasts for a relaxing and meaningful afternoon of learning and weaving.

Participants were introduced to Philippine weaving traditions through Hibla’s Mini Loom Weaving Workshop, where they created their own handwoven piece while sipping coffee and enjoying meaningful conversations. The workshop highlighted the value of heritage crafts in today’s world and made the often-intimidating practice of weaving more accessible.

With each participant weaving their own story into fabric, the event was more than just a workshop—it was a quiet act of preservation, community, and creativity.
